Entry Fee

$10 per singles
$20 for Partners– Partners can be registered for onsight if the participants are both registered for singles. If the participants are not registered for singles – participants must register for the team event prior to the registration deadline

There is a range fee payable to the range on the day of the event.  Participant is responsible for this fee.  That is $20 for the 1st event and $10 for the second event – so if shoot the pistol and shotgun, the total is $30.

A reminder that all participants must pick up their pre-paid participation credentials at the venue on the day of the event.  You do not have to go to Palm Beach Host hotel.  Credentials will be done on site.

General Information – Practical Shotgun Competition:

Course of Fire
There will be 3 stages requiring a minimum of 36 rounds.  Competitors are encouraged to bring 50 – 100 rounds.  There will be no magazine capacity limit, but the shooter may only begin the stage with 5 rounds loaded into the shotgun and reload as needed once their time begins.  Competitors will shoot each stage once and their time recorded for scoring. Competitors will start with shotgun in hand from a low ready position. Birdshot only 7 1/2 or smaller.

Awards
Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to the first three places in each class and division. The Lewis scoring system will be used to determine Classifications. The competitors will be arranged by scores best to worse and the field will be divided into thirds.  Example if we have 21 shooters, 1, 2, and 3 will medal in the expert class; 8, 9, and 10 will medal in the sharpshooter class; and 15, 16, and 17 will medal in the marksman class.

Sport Rules

  1. Eye and hearing protection required while shooting
  2. No scopes, red dots or lasers allowed.
