Participant Information

📍 Step 1: Official Games Check-In (Required)
All players must first check in at the official First Responders Games registration location:

Check-in at Mirasol opens at 7:00 AM.
All participants must complete this step and receive their credentials before arriving at the pickleball courts.

Please note, this check-in only needs to be completed once for the entire First Responders Games. If you have already checked in on a previous day, you do not need to check in again and may proceed directly to the pickleball courts.

📍 Step 2: Pickleball Check-In and Match Play
After completing registration at Mirasol, please proceed to the pickleball courts at:

Men’s Doubles and Coed Doubles will take place on Wednesday, April 22
Singles will take place on Thursday, April 23

Pickleball check-in for both days begins at 8:00 AM at the tournament desk, located under the large umbrellas between Courts 6 and 7. For your convenience, I’ve attached a layout of Lilac Park’s pickleball courts to help you navigate the venue.

Match play will begin at 8:30 AM after we hold our orientation meeting.
The orientation meeting will start at 8:30 AM in front of the tournament desk prior to the start of matches to review division formats, bracket structure, and any additional important information.

During pickleball check-in, players must be prepared to:
• Show proof of completion of the waiver
• Show proof of check-in at Mirasol
• Present a valid ID

Please allow enough time to complete registration at Mirasol and travel to the courts.

⏱️ Match Readiness & Timing
Players are responsible for being present and ready when their matches are called.
A 10-minute grace period will be allowed. If a team or player is not present after 10 minutes, the match will be recorded as a forfeit.

⚠️ Tournament Adjustments
The Tournament Director reserves the right to make adjustments to match schedules, formats, or court assignments as needed based on tournament flow, delays, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

🤝 Sportsmanship & Conduct
All players are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect toward opponents, partners, and tournament staff at all times.
Players are responsible for making their own line calls. If a disagreement or question arises, players may request assistance from the Tournament Director at the tournament desk.
Unsportsmanlike behavior may result in warnings or further action at the discretion of the Tournament Director.

During pickleball check-in, please be prepared to show proof of completion by presenting either a screenshot of the confirmation page or the email confirmation received after submitting the waiver.

💧🍎 Food & Water Information
A water fountain will be available at the pickleball courts. Please be sure to bring your own food, snacks, and any hydration beverages you prefer.

All participants must pick up their pre-paid participation credentials at the credential office prior to participation. This must be done in person. It can be done anytime prior to your event. Please bring identifying documents to verify you are a first responder. (Dept ID Card, Payroll stub with Drivers License etc… A Badge will not qualify as an identifying document) The credential office is open from 7 am til 5pm from April 12 til April 25th. There may be an additional fee for participants that do not purchase their credentials before April 11th.

Participants will not be allowed to participate without proper credentials on their person at the time of event. No other person except the registered participant may pick up their credentials, please don’t ask – no exceptions – get your own credentials!!
