Events and divisions
- Participants will be seperated first by sex.
- The participant must then choose one age division to participate in – Participants may select a lower age group but cannot select an older age group.
Adult (18-29 years of age) Master (30-39 years of age) Director (40-49 years of age) Executive (50 years of age and older) - The the particant must select a division:
Adult No-Gi Skill Levels Novice – 6 months & under of grappling experience Beginner – 6 months to 2 years of grappling experience Intermediate – 2 to 5 years of grappling experience (blue belts must compete in at least Intermediate) Expert – 5 years & over of grappling experience (purple, brown, black belts must compete at Expert) Participant then selects a weight class
Weight Class Male Flyweight – 129.9 lbs. & under Bantamweight – 130-139.9 lbs. Featherweight – 140-149.9 lbs. Lightweight – 150-159.9 lbs. Welterweight – 160-169.9 lbs. Middleweight – 170-179.9 lbs. Light-Heavyweight – 180-189.9 lbs. Cruiserweight – 190-199.9 lbs. Heavyweight – 200-224.9 lbs. Super-Heavyweight – 225-149.9 lbs. Ultra-Heavyweight – 250 lbs. & over
Weight Class Female Sub-atomic Weight – 99.9 lbs. & under Atomweight – 100-109.9 lbs. Strawweight – 110-119.9 lbs. Flyweight – 120-129.9 lbs. Bantamweight – 130-139.9 lbs. Featherweight – 140-149.9 lbs. Lightweight – 150-159.9 lbs. Welterweight – 160-169.9 lbs. Middleweight – 170-179.9 lbs. Light-Heavyweight – 180-189.9 lbs. Cruiserweight – 190-199.9 lbs. * Blue belts must enter at least Intermediate No-Gi. * Purple, brown, and black belts must enter Expert No-Gi. Competitors can only compete in one skill level and one weight class. A competitor must compete in at least one match to win an award. If no one is in your specified division, FRG will combine the next closest weight and/or age category. FRG makes every effort to create fair divisions based on the pool of competitors at this event.

- All participants must pick up their pre-paid participation credentials at the host hotel prior to participation. This must be done in person. It can be done anytime prior to your event. Please bring identifying documents to verify you are a first responder. (Dept ID Card, Payroll stub with Drivers License etc… A Badge will not qualify as an identifying document) The credential office is open from 7 am til 5pm from June 3rd til June 15th. It is also open June 2nd after 12:00 noon til 5pm. There may be an additional fee for participants that do not purchase their credentials before May 25th.
Participants will not be allowed to participate without proper credentials on their person at the time of event. No other person except the registered participant may pick up their credentials, please don’t ask – no exceptions – get your own credentials!!

Medals to all individuals (1st – 3rd places) in each divisions and weight classes
SCHEDULING
A participants briefing to be held prior to the event will explain the rules and regulations, the start time and locations.
The event coordinator will inform all participants of the weigh-in location and the time that weigh in will occur.
